We've completed a few of the projects over the years and some of the first ones, like the Watefall/Koi Pond, probably don't even have pictures to show what we did.

The rehab of our overgrown playground area begins. Our kids have outgrown their old swing set and after selling it, I started planning the new area. This heavy duty swing set is the first step towards making this area usable again. We drilled holes in stacked landscaping timber to create the outline. The holes were used to anchor the timber to the ground using 36" rebar smacked in with a 5 lb. hammer. We later mulched the area and built a monkey bar set. *** PLEASE NOTE - The Top timber is a 12 foot - 4x6 beam. I may mention 118" in the video, that is not the full length of that beam, just the room to play with when figuring out how many swings we could accommodate. If you have any questions, feel free to comment and enjoy.

We installed an above ground pool a few years ago and once the kids started jumping in, we knew the standard pool ladder wasn't going to work. It wasn't safe, it wasn't good for more than one child at a time. So the pool deck project began. Thanks to our friend Mike for helping dig the holes. The one thing not shown is the installation of a used aluminum ladder I found on craigslist...a great find at the right time! Hope you enjoy this very short video
We added some non slip strips to the trex-like decking stairs because they can get a slippery when they are wet. If you need to add this type of non-slip tape yo your build please use the link below and we will get a small amount from the Amazon Affiliate link to help our channel:
We built a backyard bar and here is how we did it. Mistakes were made but it worked out in the end. Its a work in progress.

We spent lockdown inside the house like many of you. It got old very quickly and the weather was just nice enough to plan and execute on a project that was important to us. Home Depot was making deliveries and we had time in our hands so we started our backyard farm project. Here is Part 1.
